EXCLUSIVE: Will & Grace Emmy winner Eric McCormack is starring in You’re Safe Now, a psychological thriller from writer Jess Mastro and director Nimisha Mukerji (Under The Bridge, 911).

McCormack stars opposite Anja Savcic (Loudermilk), Jesse Rath (Supergirl) and Bo Martynowska (Nancy Drew) rounding out the cast.

A character-driven psychological thriller, You’re Safe Now is an aching, and frightening portrait of loneliness, mortality and the monstrous forms love can take. Production is taking place in Toronto.

McCormack played Will Truman for 246 episodes on NBC’s Will & Grace and was nominated for multiple awards, winning the Emmy for Lead Actor in a Comedy in 2001. He most recently starred in MGM+/Sony Studios Nine Dead Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, as well as the Hulu series The Other Black Girl. The recipient of a star on Canada’s Walk of Fame and the Hollywood Walk of Fame, McCormack has played lead roles in dozens of films and TV series, including Netflix hit, Travelers, where he also served as a director and producer, Trust Me, and TNT’s Perception. On stage, he recently starred in The Cottage on Broadway, following acclaimed performances in The Music Man, The Best Man, and Some Girl(s).

The Launch Company is producing and financing, with founder Chris K. Daniels (Kristallnacht, The Dutchman, Captivated) producing alongside Mastro and Craig Fleming. Founded by Daniels, the Los Angeles-based production company and media venture studio develops, finances, and produces premium independent film through a portfolio that includes Launch Development, Launch Financing and Cinelaunch.

Mastro is known for her work on The Dutchman, The Black Sea, the upcoming Can I Come In? and is currently the Head of Development at The Launch Company.
