The nut who allegedly stormed the set of NBC’s “Today” Show and hurled a racial slur at host Craig Melvin is now set for an extended stay at Rikers Island — after he violated the terms of his probation, a court heard Wednesday.

Andrew Truelove, 41, was ordered held without bail at the city’s notorious jail complex during a brief hearing in Manhattan Supreme Court.

The enhanced bail conditions came weeks after Truelove was accused of barging into an unauthorized area of 30 Rockefeller Center, demanding to know the whereabouts of beloved anchor Al Roker before encountering Melvin and calling him the N-word.

The alleged intruder was busted near Studio 1A at around 9 a.m. on July 16 — and his bail was set at $10,000 during his arraignment the following day.

During Wednesday’s hearing, Justice Gregory Carro heard arguments that the arrest had violated the conditions set as part of Truelove’s sentencing on a criminal mischief rap just a month earlier.

Truelove pleaded guilty and was sentenced June 18 to time served and probation after spending six months locked up in that case, the details of which were not immediately available.

He’s now charged with burglary and menacing as a hate crime over the “Today” incident, and faces up to 15 years in prison if convicted on the top charge.

Even if he posted the $10,000 bail in that case, Carro’s decision to remand him into custody for the probation violation means he would still be held behind bars until the case is resolved.

Truelove, who suffers from bipolar disorder, has several out-of-state convictions — including a 2012 arrest in Virginia for stealing signs from two playgrounds honoring the victims of the Sandy Hook mass shooting.

He’s due back in court on August 5.
