Prices vary for both the UK & US

Fox McCloud is back in the Arwing, and Star Fox pre-orders are now live ahead of its 25th June 2026 launch on Nintendo Switch 2. This is a full-scale 1997’s Star Fox 64 rather than a remaster (which Star Fox 64 3D on the 3DS was), with Nintendo promising fully voiced dialogue, an orchestral soundtrack, a visual overhaul, mouse control support, single-system play for one to two, and online play for up to eight players.

To secure a pre-order for the lowest price possible in the UK, you can go to the Nintendo Store UK, where the digital version is £41.99, or Amazon for the same £41.99 price on the physical version.

While the physical version at my Nintendo Store UK is more expensive at £49.99, all Star Fox pre-orders on the site — whether physical or digital — come with a physical three-piece Star Fox pin set and team rubber velcro patch.

For Nintendo Switch 2 owners in the US, Amazon is also nearly matching the price of Stax Fox’s physical and digital copies for $49.94 and $49.99, respectively. Physical copies available at Walmart are also $49.94, while Nintendo US’ store is charging $10 more: selling the digital game for $49.99 and the physical for $59.99.

Unlike the UK’s, though, the American site doesn’t show any sign of any pre-order bonuses like the pin set and velcro patch. So, we’d recommend US customers stick with Amazon and Walmart on that side for the time being.

GameStop and Target are also selling Star Fox pre-orders for physical copies of the game, but for $59.99 (and $49.99 for digital at GameStop). With that, we would only say go for those if Amazon, Walmart, and Nintendo sell out of stock. All of these retailers offer free shipping in this case, so you can make your pre-order decision solely on the price tag.
