Television actress Aditi Sharma has filed a domestic violence complaint against her husband, Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik, as well as her mother-in-law, Urmila Kaushik, and sister-in-law, Kirti Kaushik. According to ANI report, based on her complaint, Mumbai's Goregaon Police registered an FIR on July 31 and have begun investigating the allegations. Aditi has accused the three of physical and mental harassment, assault, verbal abuse.

According to the FIR, Aditi met Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik in June 2021 while attending an online acting class. Their friendship gradually developed into a relationship, and with the approval of both families, they moved into a flat in Goregaon West in September 2024. The couple later got married on November 12, 2024.

In her complaint, Aditi alleged that her husband's behaviour changed within just a few days of the wedding. She claimed he began objecting to the clothes she wore and often started arguments over small issues.

The report stated that the actor also alleged that her husband did not contribute towards household expenses and instead took money from her. According to the complaint, an argument over coffee on January 1, 2025, escalated into verbal abuse. Following the incident, Aditi alleged that her husband started suspecting her character, accused her of having an affair, regularly checked her mobile phone and began sleeping in a separate room.

She further claimed that she was stopped from speaking to her parents.

Aditi has also accused her mother-in-law of keeping her wedding jewellery, including a gold chain, rings, a diamond ring, mangalsutra and bangles. She alleged that despite repeatedly asking for the jewellery to be returned, it was not handed back.

The complaint further states that when her mother-in-law and sister-in-law visited the couple's home to help resolve their marital issues, they allegedly supported her husband and subjected her to further harassment.

Based on these allegations, Goregaon Police have registered an FIR against Abhineet Vidyanand Kaushik, Urmila Kaushik and Kirti Kaushik. The matter is currently under investigation.

Aditi Sharma is a well-known face in the Hindi television industry. She gained popularity for playing Meera Dhingra in Kaleerein, a role that helped establish her as a leading television actor. She later starred as Roshni in the fantasy drama Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka!, which earned her further recognition among television audiences.
