The Telangana State Level Police Recruitment Board (TSLPRB) on Monday announced the final selection of 1,604 candidates for the posts of drivers and workers in the Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC), completing the recruitment process for vacancies notified in September 2025.

The recruitment notification, issued on September 17 last year was for 1,743 vacancies, comprising 1,000 driver posts and 743 worker posts. A total of 894 candidates were selected for driver posts while 710 candidates, including 16 women, were selected as workers. Altogether, 139 vacancies remained unfilled due to the non-availability of eligible candidates meeting the prescribed criteria.

The board said the selection process was based on weightage marks and driving test marks for driver posts, and weightage marks for worker posts. Candidates’ academic qualifications, reservation claims, age relaxation and other benefits were verified during certificate verification conducted at the Police Training College, Medchal, between April 23 and June 25 this year.

Shortlisted candidates can access their selection details through their login on the TSLPRB website. For driver candidates, the driving test result sheet has also been made available. The board has also published the selection lists and category-wise cut-off marks on its website.

The TSLPRB clarified that the selections remain provisional and are subject to successful character and antecedents verification, including verification of certificates, as well as medical examination.

Selected candidates must fill in the online attestation form and related proformas through their login on the TSLPRB website between 8 a.m. on August 7 and midnight on August 11. They are required to submit three signed and certified hard copies of the attestation form, along with photocopies of relevant certificates, on August 17 at the designated police offices or commissionerates for driver candidates and at the specified submission centres for worker candidates.
