'Direct' Pedro Neto contact
Man City have now reportedly made 'direct contact' with Pedro Neto's representatives as they plot a move for the Chelsea star.
Fabrizio Romano says that City are targeting a move for the Portuguese star should Spurs complete a move for Savinho.
However, Spurs also apparently see Neto as a back-up option if a deal for Savinho fails, while City's move for Neto will also depend on Chelsea's valuation for the 26-year-old.

Forest eye Reijnders
Nottingham Forest are reportedly eyeing a move for Man City midfielder Tijjani Reijnders.
The two clubs have already agreed a mammoth £116m deal for Elliot Anderson this summer, and according to the Daily Mail, Forest are considering a move for Dutch international Reijnders to replace the England star.
Reijnders only joined City last summer in a deal worth £46.5m, and would reportedly be looking for at least £55m to consider allowing him to leave as they consider a move for 18-year-old Lille star Ayyoub Bouaddi.

Pavel Sulc interest
Lyon's Pavel Sulc is the subject of interest from both the Premier League and Italy.
Juventus, who recently loaned Lois Openda to Lyon, have held talks with the French club to establish the terms of the deal.
But Czech Republic international Sulc has also been the subject of enquiries from Everton and Aston Villa.
Leeds United made contact with Lyon several weeks ago but are yet to follow up their interest.
Sulc was left behind for Lyon's Champions League qualifier against Sparta Prague in Czechia, officially due to "knee inflammation."
Boss Paulo Fonseca insists a transfer is still likely, however, stating during a press conference this week: "[Pavel] has the possibility of going to another club as well, his value in Europe is high, and many clubs are interested in him, that's normal."

Chelsea 'close' to Chavarria deal
Chelsea are said to be close to finalising a deal for Rayo Vallecano left-back Pep Chavarria.
According to the Athletic, the 28-year-old has agreed personal terms with the Blues and the two clubs are moving 'amicably' towards an agreement with the defender expected to be given permission to undergo a medical.
The left-back will likely compete with Jorrel Hato for the first-choice spot in the Chelsea XI following Marc Cucurella's departure for Real Madrid.

Chelsea open talks with Tottenham target
Chelsea may do battle with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Giorgio Scalvini, according to The Sun. The Atalanta defender would be the second defender the Blues have signed from Italy after Marco Palesta's arrival.
It's been claimed the west Londoners have even made contact with his representatives regarding a potential transfer. Spurs are also understood to hold an interest in the defender, who is believed to be valued at £42m.

Fresh Nicolas Jackson transfer stance after Chelsea ace was linked with Tottenham
Tottenham Hotspur are not courting Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson, despite links to the north Londoners. Football.London understands the Senegal forward is not on Roberto De Zerbi's transfer list.
Instead, Spurs have been linked with Liverpool ace Cody Gakpo and Manchester City wing wizard Savinho. Jackson has been linked with a move to Aston Villa this summer.

Arsenal near total Bruno Guimaraes deal
Arsenal are close to a total agreement with Newcastle United for the purchase of Bruno Guimaraes, according to David Ornstein.
It's understood a deal is now close to completion for the Newcastle United captain, who is reportedly waiting for the club's permission to undergo a medical at the Emirates Stadium. This would then all but complete his permanent switch to the reigning Premier League champions.

Marcus Rashford transfer latest
Marcus Rashford is in talks with Fenerbahce, according to the Sun. Rashford had been hoping for a move to Barcelona after his successful loan spell last season, but the Catalans opted not to sign him permanently.
Rashford remains a Manchester United player despite his future appearing to be away from the club. However, it's now understood the Turkish side are plotting a £40m move for the Englishman.

Leeds United long-term target potentially available
Leeds United transfer target Igor Paixao could be available this summer, according to L’Equipe. The Brazilian was linked with Daniel Farke's side last year, but he chose to move to Marseille.
However, the striker may be allowed to depart France this season. Paixao has previously said competing in the Premier League has always been a long-term dream for him.

Man Utd and Chelsea want Bologna defender
Manchester United and Chelsea are both being credited with an interest in Bologna defender Jhon Lucumi.
The centre-back, 28, made 43 appearances in all competitions for the Serie A side last season and played five times for Colombia at the World Cup.
Quotidiano Sportivo in Italy report that United are readying a move and Lucumi would be receptive, as he is holding out for a transfer to a ‘big club’.
The outlet claims Chelsea are also keeping tabs on the situation. Lucumi has already been the subject of two rejected bids from Juventus as well as one from Como.

Spurs transfer opportunity
Tottenham have been offered United States international Folarin Balogun. The striker's representatives are said to have reached out to Spurs directly with a proposal for the former Arsenal youngster, reports Scott Trotter.
Balogun, who was at the centre of a FIFA World Cup scandal after his red-card punishment was suspended following communication between US President Donald Trump and Gianni Infantino, is said to be available for a 'competitive fee'.

Diogo Costa update
Xabi Alonso is eyeing up a move for Porto goalkeeper Diogo Costa, who is seen as a key addition in his first Chelsea summer, reports Samuel Meade.
Costa has come through the ranks with the Portuguese champions and established himself as the No 1 for club and country, amassing 48 caps for Portugal. He's previously been linked with Manchester United but a move to their Premier League rivals could now come to pass.
Costa has a long-term contract with Porto, but it contains a €60million release clause, and reports in the Portuguese media claim Alonso would be willing to pay that fee to land what has been described as the final piece of the puzzle.

Yan Diomande latest
The Athletic have reported that Real Madrid and RB Leipzig are yet to reach an agreement over a deal for Yan Diomande.
The report claims that both clubs are scheduled to hold further deals over a potential transfer that would see Diomande move to the Santiago Bernabeu.

Fulham sign Real Madrid duo
Fulham have completed the signing of two Real Madrid players, with Gonzalo Garcia and Cesar Palacios both moving to Craven Cottage.
Both players have signed five-year deals to sign for Fulham, with Garcia arriving for a reported fee worth £34million.
The deals mean that Garcia and Palacios will reunite with Fulham manager Alvaro Arbeloa, who was in interim charge at Madrid last term.

Frank Lampard could be set for a reunion with Mykhailo Mudryk after Coventry City made contact with Chelsea about his availability. The newly-promoted side are one of three Premier League sides to have reached out, reports Scott Trotter.
Lampard coached the Ukrainian winger during his spell in charge of the Blues in 2023 and now has the possibility of utilising his services once again. The Chelsea icon led Coventry to the Championship title last season in his first role since a difficult second stint in the Stamford Bridge dugout when he replaced Graham Potter on an interim basis.
Mudryk, meanwhile, has made his return to football, having not played since November 2024 against Heidenheim.

Arsenal's new signing Christos Tzolis has explained why has has confidence that he can be a regular starter for the Gunners, despite the club being linked with Real Madrid star Vinicius Jr.
He told Sky Sports:
Obviously I'm confident as a player, so I don't think about the future and what the club will do in this position. I'm thinking how to improve and settle as fast as possible in the club because I have the opportunity to train directly with the team from the beginning of the season, to play the friendly games and then to go to official games.So it's a chance to play directly from the beginning - and then it's up to me to show the qualities and what I can bring in the team. Bruno Guimaraes' move to Arsenal from Newcastle is reportedly a 'done deal', despite recent reports saying otherwise.
ESPN Brazil journalist Bruno Andrade has claimed that Arsenal and Newcastle have already reached an agreement over a deal for Guimaraes, with the move being finalised over the weekend.
It has been claimed that the deal will be worth a total of £80million, including add-ons.

Manchester United are reportedly considering a move for Racing Santander full-back Jorge Salinas, who is their back-up option should they miss out on Lewis Hall, reports Samuel Meade.
Spanish newspaper SPORT claim that Santander’s Salinas has emerged as a target.

West Ham eying forgotten Tottenham man
West Ham are considering a move for Tottenham Hotspur forgotten man Manor Solomon. The winger has not featured often for Spurs, but he has a strong reputation from his time in the Championship.
The Hammers are still looking to replace Crysencio Summerville and Solomon's experience in the second division of English football will be appealing. While on loan from Spurs to Leeds, he netted ten goals and 13 assists as Daniel Farke's side earned promotion.

Fulham unveil signing of Real Madrid ace
Gonzalo Garcia is now officially a Fulham player after arriving from Real Madrid. He will reunite with Alvaro Arbeloa, the new Cottagers' boss who managed Los Blancos last season.

Manchester United have been told by Newcastle United that Lewis Hall is untouchable. The Reds are in the market for a new left-back and the Englishman has emerged as a potential target.

Chelsea announce latest transfer exit
Chelsea has announced young prospect Genesis Antwi has moved to Strasbourg on a season long loan. He becomes the latest young Blue to move to the BlueCo sister club.
Antwi has represented the Blues since U12s level and has gone through the age groups, all the way up to the U21s. He also made his first senior appearances in Conference League wins over FC Copenhagen and Djurgarden in the 2024-25 campaign.

Kyran Thompson, 16, has been unveiled as a new Newcastle United player. He joins the club from Arsenal as one of the latest new recruits at St. James' Park.
When his move was confirmed, the youngster uploaded a video of him arriving at his new club.

Chelsea star travels for medical ahead of exit
Chelsea defender Trevoh Chalobah has travelled to Italy ahead of his move to Como. The Blues academy graduate is set for a medical with Cesc Fabregas' side after the west Londoners came to a verbal agreement to sell him to the Serie A side.
It's understood the England international is set to join the club for £25.7million. The Blues had rejected two different offers before Como's third bid was accepted.
