Outlook not so good.

Brazilian psychic Athos Salomé claims that two of his 2026 prophecies have come true and that a third prediction is unfolding with potentially catastrophic global effects.

The so-called “Living Nostradamus,” who claims to have foretold everything from the COVID-19 pandemic to the Death Of Queen Elizabeth, unveiled a list of 10 predictions for 2026 in December of last year, Tyla reported.

One included rising tensions between Iran and Israel. “Tensions in the Middle East are expected to reach a critical threshold,” the self-proclaimed “parapsychologist” prophesied.

While this might sound vague, Salomé said he foresaw upheaval over Iran’s uranium enrichment, claiming the fallout would “ignite a new and profound period of regional instability, specifically around the second quarter of 2026.”

It’s not just Israel’s conflict with Iran that’s boiling over. Earlier this week, President Trump demanded that the Middle Eastern nation agree to a cease-fire, cautioning that there would be a “price to pay” for any attacks, according to US officials.

This came after Iran launched what the Commander-in-Chief dubbed a “surprise attack” involving a ballistic missile against a US base in Jordan, prompting retaliatory strikes from the US and bringing a pause in the conflict to a screeching halt, NPR reported.

Salomé’s predictions weren’t all prophecies of doom, however. The Brazilian mystic has taken credit for foreseeing Spain beating Argentina 1-0 in the World Cup final, as he previously said that the champions would bear the colors of fire.

This meant that they could’ve been Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, France, Morocco, Argentina or even England.

“While many psychics and commentators around the world were predicting Portugal or other nations to lift the trophy, I identified the finalists and repeatedly emphasized Spain as the most likely champion,” he said. “The outcome has now reflected those predictions.”

Although his prognostication was perhaps not nearly as prophetic as the divinations of seemingly clairvoyant cat Billy, which correctly picked 22 out of 24 non-draw matches for the 2026 World Cup.

Salomé’s alleged powers of premonition also pointed to a hostile situation involving Russia, which he claimed was “moving missile systems to strategic areas in the Arctic.”

“This increases the likelihood of direct confrontations with NATO during the ice melt in 2026, a time when new shipping routes and energy reserves could play a crucial role,” he warned.

In a recent article for the Foreign Policy Research Institute, nuclear risk expert Carl Parkin warned that melting sea ice has opened the floodgates for Russia to capitalize on the “economic benefit of the Arctic and increase its military presence in the region.”

However, he argued that the Arctic ice recession “may not work entirely in Russia’s favor.”

“As the ice melts, Russian nuclear weapons are becoming more vulnerable,” wrote Parkin, a research fellow with the University of Chicago Existential Risk Lab. “Allies must thread the needle between appropriately exploiting this vulnerability and avoiding Russian overreaction.”

Salomé also identified Africa’s Sahel region as another potential powderkeg, warning that extremist groups in Niger could war with rivals following the withdrawal of Western forces.

The seer’s other predictions encompassed everything from a stalemate between Russia and Ukraine, e escalating tensions between Taiwan and China that’d stop short of an invasion, and outbreaks of bird flu, dengue and mpox in the public health sector.
