We knew that the Japanese release date for Suikoden Star Leap would show up ahead of the global launch, and now Konami shared details about when we’ll see the JRPG on Android and iOS mobile devices. It will appear in the country on August 7, 2026. The Apple App Store and Google Play product pages are already live. Two more returning characters from the Suikoden series also ended up confirmed, as did a launch stream.

To go along with the launch, Konami will air a Suikoden Live stream one day ahead of the Suikoden Star Leap release date on August 6, 2026. That will appear on its official Japanese YouTube channel at 8pm JST, which is 4am PT/7am ET on August 6, 2026. 

It will still be a while before we start seeing Suikoden Star Leap everywhere. The JRPG will go through a staggered rollout. The Japanese Android and iOS release shows up first. Then, Konami said we can expect to see it on mobile devices worldwide. After that, the PC version will show up on Steam for everywhere everywhere.

In the meantime, Konami also teased two more returning characters for Suikoden Star Leap. They are Tengaar and Hix, who both showed up in Suikoden 1 and 2. Official trailers highlighting each of their appearances in this new game appeared online. Them being confirmed one after another makes sense, as the duo are an established couple in the series.

The Suikoden Star Leap Japanese Android and iOS mobile release date is August 7, 2026. It will also show up on mobile devices globally and the PC via Steam everywhere.
