Tess Daly showed off her age-defying figure in skintight gymwear as she gave an insight into her fitness regime on Instagram on Thursday. 

The presenter, who celebrated her 57th birthday on Sunday, looked stunning in the purple patterned co-ord from her own brand, Naia Beach. 

Tess captioned the post: 'Came for a workout and stayed for a stretch - small moments in the day to reset. Sometimes it’s a workout, sometimes it’s a walk, sometimes it’s literally just taking a minute to stretch and slow down.  

'That’s really what inspired @naia_beach activewear; pieces you can throw on that support you through all of it, whatever your routine looks like that day.'

On Sunday, Tess celebrated her 57th birthday and looked as youthful as ever as she shared a glimpse at the big day on her Instagram.

The former Strictly presenter was treated to cake and champagne and was lavished with gifts from her friends and family.

Her post showed her posing with her beautifully decorated white chocolate cake as she looked naturally stunning in a casual ensemble.

Tess also shared a look at her many cards from her friends and family, while she also enjoyed a swanky dinner out at Bob Bob Ricard in Mayfair where they have their famous 'press for champagne' buttons at each table.

She penned in the caption of her post: 'Any excuse for cake & bubbles.'

A whole host of famous faces including Claudia and Lisa Snowdon commented to wish her a happy birthday. 

The presenter previously gave an insight into her fitness regime. 

She told The Mirror: 'I'm wearing the same size jeans I was wearing in my 20's, but that's not from dieting - it's from maintaining.'

The former model said she runs on the treadmill while she watches her favourite Netflix shows and does morning skipping circuits and trampolining in her back garden. 

Tess has also credited daily yoga for both keeping her physically fit and maintaining her mental wellbeing, and shared her love for swimming.
