UPDATE | Monday, August 3 at 8:19 a.m. | A fourth person has died following the Weld County Road 80 crash. Roman Parra, 20, from Wyoming died early Sunday morning at a local hospital, according to the Weld County Coroner's Office.

WELD COUNTY, Colo. — Three recent Eaton High School graduates were killed, and two others were injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash east of Ault in Weld County Saturday evening, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Investigators said a Chevrolet Tahoe was traveling at a high rate of speed west on Weld County Road 80 around 5:18 p.m. when it went off the road, lost control and rolled several times, ejecting all five occupants.

Three men — a 19-year-old and 20-year-old from Eaton and a 19-year-old from Greeley — were pronounced dead at the scene, CSP said.

The 20-year-old male driver from Wyoming was transported by air to a local hospital with critical injuries, and a fifth 19-year-old male occupant from Eaton was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The Weld County coroner will release the identities of those killed.

The crash has shaken the Eaton community. The Eaton School District said four recent Eaton High School graduates were among those involved, including the three who died and one person who was injured.

"Our thoughts, prayers, and heartfelt condolences are with the families, friends, classmates, and everyone affected by this heartbreaking tragedy," the district said on social media late Saturday night.

The district will host crisis counseling services between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the Eaton High School media center for any student, staff member, family member or community member who'd like support.

Eaton police said officers would also be at the school to support the community as it grieves.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation. CSP said it is looking at all potential contributing factors.

Eastbound Weld County Road 80 at Weld County 39 was closed for several hours for the crash investigation and reopened at 11:15 p.m., CSP said.
