Daily ISOs of Ubuntu 26.10 "Stonking Stingray" continue to be published, but for those preferring something a bit more regulated, out today is Ubuntu 26.10 Snapshot 2 as the second monthly ISO image.

Canonical continues using monthly ISO snapshots of Ubuntu Linux to help exercise their release infrastructure. Stonking Snapshot 2 was released today that is the June snapshot of the current development state of Ubuntu 26.10.

Not too particularly exciting at this stage with plenty more updates still due to land over the next few months before the Ubuntu 26.10 stable release in October. Ubuntu 26.10 is planning for GNOME 51, Linux 7.2, and a wealth of other updates over Ubuntu 26.04 LTS.
