Mike Delaney, Boeing's chief aerospace safety officer, will retire later this year after nearly four decades with the company. Appointed in 2021, Delaney significantly improved Boeing's safety practices, aiding in the safe resumption of global air travel during the pandemic. A successor will be appointed soon, according to an internal message by Kelly Ortberg.
