Families can explore more than 60 museums for free during Kids Free in October

Families can enjoy free admission for kids 12 and younger at more than 60 museums and cultural attractions on both sides of the border during the 16th annual Kids Free in October program.
New this year, several destinations in Tijuana are joining the program, including the Tijuana Cultural Center (CECUT) and the Instituto Municipal de Arte y Cultura (IMAC). The month-long promotion runs Oct. 1-31 and includes participating museums, aquariums, gardens and historic sites.
October savings for families are not limited to museums. Kids can also eat, stay and play for free in October with deals on San Diego hotels, restaurants, activities and major attractions, including: LEGOLAND California Resort and SEA LIFE Aquarium, the San Diego Zoo and San Diego Zoo Safari Park, SeaWorld and Belmont Park.
Free admission is available for up to two children with each paid adult admission. Families can download coupons and view participating locations through the San Diego Museum Council website.
