MOSCOW, September 22. /TASS/. The Russian military is taking a systematic, strategic, and multi-level approach to striking targets in Ukraine aimed at eliminating the military-industrial potential of the Kiev regime as a whole, Alexander Stepanov, a military expert at the Institute of Law and National Security at the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA), told TASS.

He noted that a key aspect of the Russian strikes against Ukraine’s industrial sector is the systematic nature of the elimination of the Kiev regime’s military-industrial potential, in which not only production sites are destroyed, but also the entire industrial base that supports them, including the chemical, metallurgical, and energy sectors, which ensure the continuity of the industrial cycle.

"We can conclude that our Defense Ministry is employing a systematic, strategic, and multi-level approach to target selection, one that is based on very thorough intelligence and information preparation," the expert said.

He also noted the increased effectiveness of strikes by the Russian Armed Forces due to the expansion of their arsenal of precision weapons. "These strikes, sometimes carried out in a redundant manner, serve two purposes: first, to overcome the remnants of the enemy’s air defense system, and second, to ensure the destruction of key and critically important military-industrial facilities," Stepanov noted.

The expert added that all of this is complemented by the simultaneous destruction of logistical routes, primarily naval military-technical traffic organized by NATO countries to supply components and raw materials to the Ukrainian armed forces, as well as checkpoints to cut off land communications. "Taken together, the elimination of industry, energy, and logistics will guarantee that the Kiev regime is deprived of the capability to launch strikes against our territory," he concluded.
