Girls Volleyball: Elba Claims 19th Annual Albion Varsity Volleyball Tournament Title

Elba won the 19th annual Albion Purple Eagles Varsity Volleyball Tournament with a three-set victory over Newfane in the championship match on Saturday.Elba defeated Newfane 25-22, 21-25, 15-12 to claim the tournament title.Both Elba and Newfane finished pool play undefeated, each recording a point differential of greater than plus-45. In the semifinal round, Newfane advanced with a 2-0 win over host Albion, while Elba earned a 2-0 victory against Medina.Brynn Stackhouse of Elba was named to the All-Tournament Team.The eight-team field featured Albion, Elba, Holley, Kendall, Lyndonville, Medina, Newfane, and Oakfield-Alabama.
