A German-American pub at 2240 Frazier Ave. has been given a new beer license because Bryan Hart, one of the owners, bought out his business partner.

The Brewhaus features outdoor seating that overlooks Coolidge Park and the river. It is open from 11 a.m. until 9 p.m. on weekdays and on Sundays from noon until 4 p.m.

The restaurant offers both table service and takeout. Appetizers, sandwiches and entrees are available and there are vegetarian options. There is a full bar, specializing in multiple beers rotate which are served by he half or full liter.

The restaurant is an established business that has been in Chattanooga since 2011.

Trish’s Sports Bar, known for karaoke, big screen TVs for sports events, free pool on Mondays and a DJ on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays, is located at 4762 Highway 58. The business opened in 2018, but the beer-only bar had to apply for a new beer permit without facing penalties, because of a lapsed license due to confusion with the city’s beer ordinance.

It is open every day of the week from 11 a.m. until closing hours of 12 a.m. during the week and 3 a.m. on weekends.

RainThai Bistro, 6933 Lee Highway, has been open 14 years, serving authentic Thai cuisine, but has been unable to sell beer for several months because of a failure to renew its beer license.
