I would like to suggest a new core feature for the WordPress Block Editor (Gutenberg): a built-in “Find and Replace” tool.

Currently, if a user needs to update a specific term, link, or shortcode across a long post or page, they have to do it manually, which is inefficient and prone to error, especially for long-form content. While there are plugins available for site-wide database search/replace, there is no native solution for editors to perform this simple, fundamental task within the editor interface.

Proposed Functionality:

• Keyboard Shortcut: Add a shortcut (like Ctrl+H or Cmd+H) to open the “Find and Replace” modal.
• Editor Interface: A simple floating bar or modal that allows users to:
• Input a “Find” term.
• Input a “Replace with” term.
• Options for “Match Case” and “Match Whole Word”.
• “Find Next”, “Replace”, and “Replace All” buttons.
• Scope: This should work within the specific post or page being edited.
