TVFCU Riverfront Nights will become TVFCU Southside Nights this Saturday, providing an encore to Chattanooga’s most-loved summer music series.

Held at Finley Stadium, gates will open at 5 p.m. for the free event, welcoming friends and families to an evening of fun on Davenport Field. Fans are invited to bring their picnic blankets and lawn chairs to the field to catch the UT vs. Georgia Tech game on the jumbotron, rock out to live music, and play a few lawn games of their own. 

Finley executive director Brian Wright said, “This is a first-time event that we hope will grow into an annual series at Finley.  Friends of the Festival is a great partner for us, and we’re looking forward to seeing our campus enhance the wonderful atmosphere of TVFCU Riverfront Nights, plus some football-fun.” 

The evening will feature all of the components fans of TVFCU Riverfront Nights love: free music; lots of food trucks; and activities for the entire family including cornhole, CFC’s inflatable soccer field, Spikeball, and other fun activities to enjoy throughout the evening. There will also be a field goal challenge to add to the fun.   

TVFCU Southside Nights will also feature a VIP viewing area, which includes tents with seating for up to 10 fans, and exclusive food and beverage catering options valued at $500.  The VIP tents are extremely limited and expected to go fast, said officials. They can be reserved at: suites@finleystadium.com.

Alumni Associations from UT and Georgia Tech will be on hand for the game as well as to enjoy a little friendly competition between alumni associations. Vol Lager and Sweetwater 420 will be sold with portions of the proceeds going to both schools. In addition, other beverages will be available from TriStar and Coca-Cola.

Food Truck Alley will be set up with America Runs on Pizza, Freaky Funnels, Mac’s Subs and Fries, Scenic City Shaved Ice, Smashboyz, and Soul Que will be selling food throughout the evening. 

There will be plenty of parking available. Event planners note that only service animals will be allowed inside of Finley’s campus.
