NEW YORK, September 25. /TASS/. Special envoy of the Russian President and Chief Executive of the Russian Direct Investment Fund Kirill Dmitriev met with the US president’s special envoy, Steve Witkoff, and son-in-law Jared Kushner, CNN reported.

Sources said Dmitriev, Witkoff and Kushner have discussed "US-Russia cooperation and a peaceful resolution to the conflict in Ukraine."

Witkoff and Kushner visited Moscow on September 5, where they were received by Russian President Vladimir Putin. On the following day, they met with Vladimir Zelensky in Kiev. According to Russian Presidential Aide Yury Ushakov, Putin held a phone conversation with his US counterpart on September 8.
