MOSCOW, September 25. /TASS/. Gazprom Group increased gas production by 3.4% to 216.55 bln cubic meters (bcm) in the first half of 2026, according to the issuer's report.

Gas intake into the company's gas transmission system in Russia rose by 4% to 313.5 bcm (compared to 301.2 bcm the previous year). This year-on-year growth was driven by increased gas supply volumes to consumers both within and outside Russia.

Gazprom Group also increased gas sales on domestic and foreign markets by 4.4% to 193.2 bcm. During the first half of the year, Gazprom injected 18.9 bcm of gas into underground gas storage facilities (down from 19.7 bcm a year earlier), while withdrawals totaled 28.6 bcm (compared to 25.6 bcm in 2025).

In addition, Gazprom Group reduced its production of oil and gas condensate in Russia by 2.7% to 37.3 mln tonnes.

Gazprom reduced the processing of natural and associated petroleum gas by 3.6% to 30.99 bcm, primarily due to events unrelated to production activities, the report said.

The Group's processing of oil and stable gas condensate decreased by 4.6% to 27.47 mln tonnes. Production of liquefied petroleum gases (LPG) rose by 3.8% to 1.91 mln tonnes, and helium production increased by 27.2% to 9.92 mln cubic meters, while the production of petroleum products fell by 5.7% to 24.72 mln tonnes. The increase in Gazprom's commercial helium production volumes is linked to the commissioning of the second processing train at the helium purification, liquefaction, and packaging unit of the Amur Gas Processing Plant in December 2025.

In the first half of the year, Gazprom also sold 19.56 mln tonnes of oil and stable gas condensate (compared to 16.95 mln tonnes in the first half of 2025) and 32.69 mln tonnes of oil and gas processing products (compared to 34.09 mln tonnes in the first half of 2025). The increase in sales volumes of crude oil and gas condensate is primarily driven by prevailing market conditions, the statement said. The decrease in sales volumes of oil and gas processing products is mainly attributed to reduced hydrocarbon feedstock processing volumes at the Gazprom Group's processing facilities, the holding company emphasized.
