MOSCOW, September 28. /TASS/. Russia’s Federal Security Service (FSB) has opened a criminal case against former model Ksenia Maximova, who lives in London, for participating in an organization designated as terrorist, the FSB press office said.

TASS has compiled the main details available so far.

- According to the FSB, Maximova established Russian Democratic Society UK in London for the benefit of British elites soon after the start of the special military operation. Russia added the group to its list of undesirable organizations on September 11.

- She brought together Russian emigres living in the United Kingdom.

- The FSB said Maximova used the organization and its members to collect money, equipment and other assistance for the Kiev regime.

- According to the FSB press office, Maximova made the group into a platform for people planning to seize power by force and change Russia’s constitutional order, including leaders and members of the Anti-War Committee of Russia, which Moscow has designated a terrorist organization. The agency also said the group held events supporting extremist organizations such as the Anti-Corruption Foundation (FBK), which Russia has designated an extremist organization; spread false information about the actions of the Russian Armed Forces; and arranged campaigns at the behest of Western handlers to harass Russian officials in the United Kingdom.

- Authorities opened a criminal case against Maximova under Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Russian Criminal Code, which concerns participation in an organization designated as terrorist under Russian law.

- They put the former model on federal and international wanted lists.

- Russia’s Federal Service for Financial Monitoring also added her to its list of organizations and individuals involved in extremist activity or terrorism.

- Investigators are currently carrying out measures in the case against Maximova and her accomplices.

- The FSB will continue working to counter the terrorist activity launched by London using Russian emigres, its press office said.

- The UK has intensified efforts to consolidate the so-called Russian opposition abroad since the start of the special military operation, an FSB officer said.

- London seeks to create the illusion that an alternative capable of replacing Russia’s government is taking shape among Russian emigres, he added.

- According to the officer, Russians who have left the country are helping Britain bring together the so-called opposition and are, in effect, Vlasovites 2.0. The term refers to members of the Russian Liberation Army, which fought alongside Nazi Germany during World War II.

- The FSB said it knows the identities of all emigres who have decided to work with London and wish to see Russia defeated.
