A Portugese restaurant that operated for nine years in North Chattanooga is closing.

Bela Lisboa's last day will be May 31.

A going away party will be from 3-9 p.m.

A message said, "Thank you to our amazing customers and community support for nine incredible years of support, laughter and memories. We are truly grateful."

It is located at 417 Frazier Ave.

And, Stevarino's Italian Eatery & Pub on Cherokee Boulevard is also closing.

The restaurant's original location at South Pittsburg remains open.

Owners cited increased costs cutting into profitability.
