Verizon delivered 348,000 broadband net additions in the second-quarter ended June 30, a 12.3% increase from 310,000 net additions in the previous-year period. The subscriber additions include total fixed wireless access net additions of 193,000 and 155,000 fiber broadband net additions.

“With recent updates including our new … converged offerings, and loyalty program, we are gaining subscribers and earning long-term retention based on real value rather than subsidized promotions,” said CEO Dan Schulman.

As previously announced, Verizon stopped reporting quarterly video customer data in the first quarter. The company altered its reporting structure to redirect Wall Street’s attention toward more profitable, expanding sectors such as wireless and high-speed fiber broadband.

Prior to dropping the metric, Verizon experienced steep, ongoing traditional pay-TV losses. For context, it shed 243,000 video subscribers over the course of 2025, wrapping up that year with roughly 2.4 million remaining television customers.
