UNITED NATIONS, July 27. /TASS/. By delivering strikes on civilians and civilian targets, Vladmir Zelensky and his officials hope to reverse the unfavorable situation on the battlefield, Russia’s acting Permanent Representative to the United Nations Anna Yevstigneyeva said.

"No sane person will justify deliberate strikes on sleeping vacation-goers or buses with civilians, although this is exactly what the United Kingdom tried to do today. But we will dare to suggest the following: this is how Zelensky, in his delusion, is expecting to reverse the unfavorable situation on the battlefield, to intimidate the civilian population in Russia and to create the illusion of winning for Western and Ukrainian media in order to obtain more weapons and money from his sponsors," she told a UN Security Council meeting.
