LUGANSK, September 24. /TASS/. Foreign journalists from 11 countries have visited the Starobelsk Pedagogical College, where 21 people died in a Ukrainian attack on the night of May 22, a TASS correspondent reports.

The representatives of foreign states spoke with students whose friends were killed or injured.

13 journalists from Pakistan, Indonesia, Spain, the US, Slovenia, Brazil, China, Cameroon, Madagascar, Guatemala, and Colombia arrived in the LPR to gather information about the events unfolding in Donbass. The media representatives plan to objectively inform their people about the Ukrainian aggression against civilians.

Employees of the Starobelsk College met with the journalists and spoke about the events that took place this May. Media representatives were provided with evidence that there were no military facilities near the educational institution. They were shown the collapsed buildings of the dormitory and the old academic building. The guests were told about the evacuation of students at the time of the attack, as well as about the search and rescue operations after part of the building collapsed.

"The world leaders need to stop -- to stop killing children and young people, to kill normal citizens [in Donbass]. This is why I hope that peace will come here quickly. Because if peace does not come here, I think there will be more and more places like these. I don’t want to see the world turning into a world war. War is terrible," Chinese journalist Li Xiang told TASS.

Those present also laid flowers at a makeshift memorial and observed a minute of silence in memory of the fallen students.

On the night of May 22, Ukraine attacked the academic building and dormitory of the Starobelsk Pedagogical College of the Lugansk State Pedagogical University in the LPR with drones, killing 21 people. At the time of the strike, 86 children were at the educational institution.
