MOSCOW, September 26. /TASS/. Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov and Barbadian Prime Minister Mia Mottley have discussed cooperation at the United Nations and strengthening regional stability, the Russian Foreign Ministry said after their meeting in New York on the sidelines of the high-level week of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.

"During the conversation, which took place in a frank and friendly atmosphere, topical issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda were discussed with a focus on activities within the framework of the United Nations," it said in a statement.

The officials also confirmed their interest in further deepening the dialogue and cooperation to develop Russian·Barbadian relations and strengthen regional stability, the Foreign Ministry added.
