The president should look forward to November, not back to 2020.

Both your recent editorial as well as letters from readers have questioned the value of the President Donald Trump’s continued assertion that fraud decided the 2020 presidential election. Even the 100,000 mail ballots votes disqualified in California in 2020 were less than 1 percent of the total votes cast there.
It’s time for the president to abandon speculation about 2020 and focus on the 2026 midterms if he wants the next Congress to be supportive of his objectives. The GOP has done well in midterms in the past and will need every vote that is potentially out there to continue that trend in November.
