Year 3 content starts in September

Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 rounds out the end of it’s Year 2 update cycle with the enormous Confrontation Update, bringing a huge change to PvP within the game.
The main change made to PvP is the outright removal of the progression based unlock system. Essentially, weapons and wargear were tied to your personal level in the mode – meaning latecomers could find themselves ill-equipped in the face of mode veterans. Well that has been entirely binned, so now players can mix and match and see what loadout will best suit their throwdowns.
There are also some additions to uplift and encourage play:
Of course, PvP isn’t the only thing going on within Update 14 – people leaping into the Operations mode can also enjoy a bounty of new goodies:
There’s also further cosmetics, with players now being able to enjoy the Raptors Cosmetic Pack to make their space marines look extra sneaky. Oh, and a new Salamanders Champion Pack is on deck to satisfy heavy gunners that love those green-armoured lads.
It’s a great update, laying the table nicely for the Year 3 content to start dropping in September.
