Greenwich Town Party announced its lineup of local artists that will perform at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park this year.

The annual event will feature Connecticut artists The Moonrise Cartel, Homegrown, Kovac Brothers, MOJO and Starpose, each set to perform on the Town Stage throughout the event.

Greenwich Town Party previously announced its main stage performers earlier this year, which includes Dave Matthews and longtime guitarist Tim Reynolds, Creedence Clearwater Revival's John Fogerty and New Orleans' Preservation Hall Jazz Band. For kids' entertainment, the Greenwich Town Party will have "Elmo's Got The Moves," an interactive song and dance show featuring Elmo and his Sesame Street friends.

This year's Greenwich Town Party will take place starting at 10 a.m. May 23. The Greenwich Town Party is a ticketed event open to people who live or work in the town of Greenwich. Organized by Greenwich Town Party Inc., a nonprofit organization, the party is not sponsored by the town of Greenwich.

The Greenwich Town Party, which started in 2011, brings in famous musicians each year with Billy Joel, Eric Clapton, The Eagles, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Zac Brown Band and Paul Simon among those who have played the town party before. Last year's lineup included Alanis Morissette and Ziggy Marley.
