The personnel will support its people and customer development teams.
OVERLAND PARK, KAN. — Hill’s Pet Nutrition announced three personnel appointments within its people and customer development leadership teams.
Wendy Boise has been appointed executive vice president of People. Boise brings more than 26 years of human resources leadership from Hill’s parent company Colgate-Palmolive, in which she has driven organizational effectiveness and HR strategy during the company’s significant transformation.
Since joining Colgate-Palmolive in 2000, Boise has held several key operational and strategic roles, from vice president of North America Human Resources and head of HR for the global finance organization. Most recently, she served as executive vice president of Global Talent, Learning and Organization Development, responsible for leading enterprise-wide talent acquisition, leadership, learning, succession and career development.
“Wendy’s appointment reflects our deep commitment to advancing a high-impact, inclusive culture,” said Yvonne Hsu, president of Hill’s. “Under her leadership, we are fundamentally elevating the employee experience by prioritizing growth, wellbeing, and inclusion. She will also be instrumental in strengthening our business partnerships to help leaders build teams that consistently deliver on our objectives, while spearheading our integration of new technology and artificial intelligence to give our people faster, more personalized support in the coming year.”
In her new role, Boise will lead Hill’s global people function, cultivating a high-impact, inclusive culture and advancing the capabilities and leadership of Hill’s teams throughout the globe.
“It is an honor to join Hill’s Pet Nutrition and lead a people strategy that puts our employees at the center of everything we do,” Boise said. “Hill's has an incredible legacy of science-led innovation, and I am passionate about bringing that same forward-thinking approach to our workplace. My focus will be on advancing an inclusive culture where every team member can reach their full potential to continue delivering on our mission to transform pets’ lives.”
Keith Wilkinson has been promoted senior vice president of Global Customer Development. He originally joined Colgate-Palmolive in 2005 as a customer marketing executive before joining Hill’s as director of Retail Marketing in 2017. He later progressed to general manager of Hill’s Mexico and Latin America in 2019 and then joined the company’s US Customer Development team in 2023.
During his most recent role as senior vice president of Hill’s US Customer Development Organization (CDO), Wilkinson leveraged a data-driven approach to help redefine the company’s go-to-market model and focused on omni-commercial planning and joint value planning (JVP) creation. According to Hill’s, he has elevated the company as a partner of choice, leading to record sales and share growth in the United States.
“Keith’s impact on our US business cannot be overstated,” Hsu said. “What truly sets Keith apart, however, is his deep commitment to talent development and his ability to build world-class partnerships. As he steps into this global role, I am completely confident that his commercial vision and relentless drive will strengthen our retail and veterinary partnerships worldwide.”
In his new role, Wilkinson will lead Hill’s global customer development strategy with a goal to expand its footprint and strengthen partnerships in international markets.
“It has been a privilege to lead the US customer development organization, and I am incredibly proud of the growth and modernized partnerships we’ve built together,” Wilkinson said. “I look forward to taking this momentum to the global stage, continuing to bring Hill’s science-led nutrition to more pets everywhere.”
With Wilkinson’s promotion, Carolyn Belloni joins Hill’s to lead its US CDO. Belloni brings to the role more than 20 years of commercial leadership experience in the pet care and consumer packaged goods industries. She more recently served as chief sales officer of Targeted Pet Care, in which she led commercial strategy and partnerships across e-commerce, pet specialty, grocery/mass channels and omnichannel retailers like Chewy, Amazon, PetSmart, Petco and others.
“Carolyn is an exceptional commercial leader with a proven ability to drive step-changes within an organization and build strategic customer relationships at scale,” said Rauf Gurbuz, executive vice president and Hill’s US general manager. “Her deep expertise in the pet category and omni-channel distribution makes her the perfect fit to build upon Keith’s success and lead our US CDO into its next chapter of growth.”
Belloni added, “Hill’s Pet Nutrition has a remarkable legacy of transforming pets’ lives through science, and I am thrilled to join this passionate team. I look forward to partnering with our customers across the United States to drive mutual growth.”
