(LifeSiteNews) — Photos of the holdout juror in the Lindsay Clancy triple-murder trial showing him holding his newborn daughter have created a jarring contrast with Clancy’s actions and the spurious, maligning accusations made by his fellow jurors.

After he caused Clancy’s trial to end in a deadlock because he refused to judge her as “not responsible” for her actions, black Catholic Republican Michael Desronvil has been raked over the coals by his fellow jurors and a local TV out outlet, all of whom who have sought to discredit him and destroy his reputation.

“The Holdout Juror, Michael Desronvil, is a father,” noted Fox News personality Kayleigh McEnany, who posted photos provided by his attorney of when his daughter was born.

Explaining why Desronvil held firm and stood up for justice for Clancy’s three deceased children instead of siding with the cadre of activist jurors who wanted to foment societal change by finding Clancy “not responsible,” conservative commentator Jack Posobiec declared, “The Holdout Juror being the father of a little girl is all you need to know.”

Meanwhile, an online fundraiser to help Desronvil cover possible legal fees as he fights to protect his reputation has topped $370,000 and continues to climb.

“If they come for him, and they will, this is to cover security, lawyers, and lost work,” notes an appeal at GiveSendGo.

“Lindsay killed them. Stand with him,”​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​ urges the fundraiser.
