You have to wonder about the intelligence level of city leaders who dictate levels of sustainable energy but don’t enact watering restrictions during a drought.

About this new flag that Longmont doesn’t need, the question is how much is it going to cost to finish the design work, create the new flags, change the letterhead, change all the website places? There’s all those little things that are going to have to be done, and if there was just money to burn with nowhere else to go, give it to the Humane Society. Don’t just burn it up on a flag.

Oh my. I read the article about demanding Sean McCoy’s apology. Is this really something to snivel and ask for apology over? In reality, the airport manager and the city manager should be fired, not apologized to, over airport issues alone. Who else allowed the culture for a handful of aviators to start a “I own this airport” claim? Who allowed them to take over the city in the first place? Why is our mayor being useless? Too busy with flags? Fire or recall. I’ll hold a sign for that.

I have a suggestion, a strong suggestion. Since they’re talking about closing four elementary schools in Boulder Valley School District, how about we lower property taxes since there might be or will be less schools to support?

• The blame for Colorado supposedly being a one-party state falls squarely on the shoulders of the Republicans who are unable to produce viable candidates. It’s not the Democrats’ fault.

• This one-party state is being very predictable — raise taxes, give them more to spend to buy votes. Prop 195 is an envy-induced proposition to tax the rich even more. It is not justice. Prop NN is the same, except taxes everyone. Vote against these ideas. Make the legislature control spending and do their job to make Colorado an economical state to live in and not a giveaway state for those who choose not to work.

No no mo mo for CoCo. Of course they want us to forget. Middle finger message received. Don’t forget, vote no.

Wow, it’s been almost two years. We have not heard anything from Gabe Evans. All of a sudden, my mailbox is full of his junk. Where have you been? Why haven’t you held town halls?

Trump really doesn’t need to worry about leaving a legacy. He will absolutely be remembered in our history. Unfortunately, rarely for good reasons.
